Hand sewn cushion cover made from Morris & Co.’s Strawberry Thief which has been printed on cotton velvet & piped with a modern caramel / dark gold cotton. Dating back to 1883, Strawberry Thief is one of Morris & Co.’s most iconic designs. This velvet interpretation retains the same enchanting detail of the original which was said to be inspired by the thrushes Morris found stealing fruit from his kitchen garden. ( quote from the William Morris website ) You can choose to have either natural beige linen or a selection of coloured velvets for the reverse. All the seams have been double sewn & four stitched overlocked for strength & there is a concealed zip on the reverse beneath the piping for ease of opening. Dry clean only PLEASE NOTE This listing is for the cover only. I do not provide the inserts. All my covers are single- sided only with linen or velvet on the reverse.
