THE IMAGE I took the original photo of this print on a very stormy day at Pitenweem Harbour in Fife. I was so busy concentrating on capturing the amazing sky I didn’t even realise that the heavy clouds were headed straight for me & I promptly got soaked just 5 minutes after this was taken. It was well worth it though - sunshine is so overrated anyway! Numerous different layers of textures & effects are added & manipulated to create a more subtle, painterly, sometimes ethereal quality to the image. The process can take many, many hours to achieve just the right combination of depth, colour & texture to add a new dimension which brings the original subject more alive but makes it slightly abstract at the same time. POSTAGE (FREE UK DELIVERY) Your print will arrive carefully packaged & will be delivered by either Royal Mail 2nd class or courier from Dundee, Scotland. An express service upgrade is an option if you need it in a hurry.
