‘New Brighton Lighthouse’ unframed art print. A colourful & contemporary illustration of one of Wirral’s most photographed lighthouses (minus some of its more recent additions such as the solar panels). This art print has a true fresh, coastal feel thanks to its teal sky & white lighthouse & would look great in a living room, bathroom, toilet, hallway or kitchen. Standing at 28m tall, New Brighton Lighthouse, also known as Perch Rock Lighthouse, is situated on the convergence of the River Mersey & Liverpool Bay & is one of Wirral’s best known landmarks. De-commissioned in 1973, it was given a makeover in 2001 & an LED light source installed which flashed the names of those lost at sea, including all victims of the sinking of the titanic. More recently new LEDs replicate the original ’two white flashes followed by a red flash’. The curved design is modelled on the trunk of an oak tree, a fact not many people may know! The A4 & A3 prints will also fit any ready-made A4/A3 frames (lots of choice on Etsy & Amazon from 8 for an A3 frame). How was it made? All of my designs are created in Adobe Illustrator & digitally printed on a lovely smooth, bright white 225gsm card which is sustainably sourced & made from 100% recycled materials. It’s also PH neutral & highly resistant to UV light and, as a result, your print should last for many years to come. Dimensions: A4 - 29.7cm x 21.0cm (11.7 x 8.3). Actual image size taking into account a 1.5cm white border is 26.7cm x 18.0cm. A3 - 42.0cm x 29.7cm (16.5 x 11.7) Actual image size taking into account a 2cm white border is 38.0cm x 25.7cm. Packaging & shipping: All A4 & A3 prints are placed in a cello bag & carefully packaged between two pieces of thick card before being placed in a board backed envelope to keep them safe. International-bound A3 prints are carefully rolled & wrapped in tissue paper & placed in a sturdy postal tube for added protection. If an A4 print is included in the same order then it also will be placed in the tube. You can rest assured all prints should arrive in perfect condition. I dispatch all prints within 1-3 working days (please check for any temporary adjustments to dispatch times) & for UK customers I use Royal Mail 2nd Class for all parcels.
