In the early 1950’s my Grandfather & I would take a trek from Detroit to Lakeside Gardens located in New Baltimore Mi. to buy some dahlias & gladiolas for my Grandmother. New Baltimore was known as the dahlia city of America. Lakeside Gardens no longer exists but descendants maintain a small memorial garden at a local park. Every time I see a dahlia it brings back a happy memory & a smile to my face. These dahlias were grown in my garden. The large dahlia is a Dark Monarch & the others are Rebecca’s World. I artistically captured these beautiful dahlias to be forever memorialized. I use photoshop, procreate & other artistic programs to recompose my art. Unframed 8 x 10 or 11 x 14 inch print is landscape oriented. Framed art is for reference only. I print my art on a canon prograf 1000 printer with pigmented inks using 100% cotton archival paper. The colors are vibrant & look just like the original. Print is securely packaged in cello bag with backing board & shipped in a rigid mailer. Print has a small signature on the front & will be pencil signed & dated on the reverse. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to message me.
