Set of four framed original pieces of Woman Gallery ciclee prints. Measurements: Height:14cm. Width:14cm. Mobilito is the name of my new prints, created on my smartphone. I draw directly on my smartphone with a special marker, afterwards processing the sketch on the phone. Thus, the Mobilito pieces are nothing like art prints; a photography of a piece of art, printed on paper & re-sold. The mobilito, on the other hand, are original pieces of graphic art, printed directly from my smartphone - consider the special marker as my needle & the smartphone as my printing plate. Womangallery is the first Mobilito series & is distinguished from my paintings by being figurative. I retrieve the concept of the woman figures from some of my earliest pieces of graphic prints back in the 1970ies. Womangallery can be bought in pieces of eight Mobilotos printed on 260g of quality printing paper in a cover. App. 10 10 cm. You will receive the print signed & numbered. Please let me know if you have any questions or requests. This print can also be bought as a collection of all 8 pieces, please look at my other listings. Kind regards, John About John Hansen: John Hansen (1953), painter & graphic designer, is educated at Funen Art Academy from 1971-1976 & has been exhibiting at censored exhibitions from 1977. in his career he has experimented with different art forms, but has always had a path - nature in all its form is a large inspiration as well as the human figure. Corrosions & etchings, Torso-like figures, which appears in the mid 1980s, dissappears at the end of the decade - only to be revived several times during the years. His artistic development in his paintings continued into abstract expressionism where colour, texture & technique all comes together. A fundamental importance is the rhythm in the paintings & the element of light versus shadow, as well as texture & the aspect of space. Left behind is a distillation of the surroundings. It becomes hard to identify an actual ground colour, due to several layers of paint. Technically, the paint is painted, sprinkled & dripped on the canvas. Several places on the surface a rectangle and/or a horizontal line is seen. Voyages to The Netherlands, Germany, & Norway, among others, has been crucial for John Hansen. But of special importance was a stay in Brazil in 1993-94. He wanted to work more freely with colours & experimented with both red ocher Brazilian earth & grey-black earth from the hills of Snderby on Funen, made his own paint & worked to reach a point where texture & intensity became more & more pronounced. Often John Hansens starting point is his own lithographic proof impressions, whereupon he paints sombre abstract expressionism with vague traces from, or reference to, recognisable forms. Delicate Nordic colours can in ruptured formations physically associate to mountain walls, ice, snow & clouds, combined with light & dark brown, green & deep-violet masses lit up by ochre, yellow & blue. in
