Philadelphia, PA Sunset is a spectacular time of day to be on or near the Delaware River. The city skyline & the Ben Franklin Bridge capture the late day light as the lighting transitions to night. I wanted to capture the shapes & lines of the architecture at that moment. Each digital illustration was hand drawn in Adobe Illustrator, influenced by the colors & simplicity achieved from traditional silk screening. Each print is 11x14 (with 1/2 white border), printed on Gilcee Paper: A thick (19-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper with the luxurious style of traditional archival quality artists’ papers. It has a natural-white, matte finish with a textured watercolor feel. It has a true matte surface with elegant texture & is signed by the artist.
