This is a wonderful plate made circa 1880 by George Jones & Sons. The plate is moulded in high relief & gives a raised, almost 3 dimensional appearance to the surface. The beautiful bird & plant design is hand painted. This plate was orginally part of a set with other bird designs, probably used as a luncheon service. Approx Diameter: 23cms in good used antique condition with minor paint loss in places, but still absolutely charming after almost 150 years - Please take a look at all of the photographs as part of the condition report. These items are vintage or antique & are sold in an ‘as is’ condition - there may be signs of use, age & other small defects - I strive to make my descriptions as informative & honest as possible.
