Fabulous antique oil paint advert from circa 1900. This beautiful French illustration shows a dapper, bearded & moustachioed artist, with cravat & cummerbund, wearing a traditional beret & carrying artist’s brushes in his pocket. It’s so evocative of the early 1900s artistic era in Paris. It is a promotion for La Surfine linseed oil based paints. The bottom of the picture has named circles for the different shades of paint. A truly wonderful piece of advertising artwork with terrific graphics. A must for any art lover. Also great for image producers. in good condition for its advanced age. There are a few scuffs on the edges & a little rubbing on the corners. There is a small mark at the top right. Please see the photographs for condition.
